For the sake of space, I restricted myself to one text per writer (although most could have had more). And of course it skews heavily toward my own interests, so I’d recommend a look at the original thread for texts that didn’t make the list:

And a big thanks again for everyone who contributed. The to-read bookstack grows ever higher by the day.

Oh that's great. I really have to get around to Klossowski someday. And you're absolutely right about Benjamin -- it was a struggle to pick just one of his books.

1- Communicates theory through fictive devices -- not philosophical fiction, but fictive philosophy. 2- Practices theory outside the confines of the "high" academic style. 3- Occupies the growing intersection between reality, fiction, theory, and fantasy. 4- I want to read it.

Tbh Nietzsche slipped my mind, and TSZ totally could have been on there. Kinda glad I made room for more obscure texts, though.

Ah, yes! nice. Would it be of any use to pop this into a public excel sheet with tags? Am thinking they could be useful with which theories they highlight? happy to help if need be

I'm currently sorting them into into rough categories, although there is of course a lot of overlap. But if you want to take a crack at it, feel free to do so. @flatinternetsoc has copied it to text over here:

Interesting list: thanks. The Walsh is Worlds from the Word’s End - a title it is almost impossible to get right. The book resists its own naming!
