To be honest, I wouldn’t be against Umbro. They have done well with the Everton and West Ham kits over the past few years, and generally try to stay traditional which is ultimately what Newcastle fans seem to want.

Something has gone terribly wrong in the shirt design department and the leaked shirt is awful. Puma got it right with this season’s Milan shirt - please give us that design instead. I’ve illustrated what we want below.

Of course I have - the Adidas designer who mustered up that concept is clearly a Newcastle fan. Sabotage at its finest.

The gulf in class between Puma vs Adidas-produced kits is actually hilarious. I cannot wait for to be rid of their template bargain-bucket strips.

Elias Sorensen's scoring record for the U23s this season has been absolutely stunning. Excited to see the lad given more opportunities to impress in pre-season and beyond.

The thing I most hate about this is the logo. With the white background, it looks so unnatural, almost as if it’s been stuck on with pritt-stick.

[1/2] I find some of the slander directed towards the Longstaff rumours bewildering. 'Big club' fans laughing off the very concept that a young, British -nurtured player could be actually be a good player. Naturally, I am praying he doesn't leave...

Claims from TuttoSport that Rafa has agreed a new deal with and the club will ‘back him with substantial funds'. Exciting developments - then again, until he's standing in front of the Sport Direct hoarding, I'll be holding back the beers.
