I was literally just saying this to Mr. Siren earlier today. It took the image of hundreds of coffins draped with the flag for Americans to turn on Vietnam war. I worry in the “fake news” era, people won’t even believe their eyes.

The tweet doesn’t say it, but this is a direct, unified message, speaking directly to those who are hijacking the Christian message. It is not God’s will to put children in cages. I will not let this get normalized. I will not let Jeff Sessions claim my religion & use it for evil

It’s pretty meaningful that so many people of faith are condemning the current administration’s policies. No matter what you think about immigration, there is no excuse, no argument for putting babies and children in cages. None. That is not God’s work.

“At U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops mtg, Catholic leaders strongly condemned the administration’s immigration policies as immoral, with one bishop suggesting Catholics who help carry out these policies are violating their faith and perhaps should be denied Communion.”

The toxic white nerds bending over backwards to poke holes in the Chris Hardwick revelation today are the same toxic white nerds who bullied Kelly Marie Tran off Instagram last week. They deserved no power then, and they deserve no power now. Ignore them.

This is the hard work of . Our eyes are open. We can’t go back. The truth will out. It’s going to hurt. It’s going to cost us a few heroes and icons. It’s going to test our mettle. No person’s glory is worth more than another person’s suffering. I stand with

I know it’s probably not intentional, but when people respond to allegations of abuse against Chris Hardwick by saying “well I never thought he was funny anyway”, they’re sending out the dangerous message that someone’s talent would perhaps excuse abuse.

I am a Christian and I am against separating children from their parents and putting them in prison cages. I can’t believe I have to say this. In America’s dark history we have slavery, Trail of Tears, Japanese internment camps. There is no justification, be it biblical or law.

was also cited to defend actions under the Fugitive Slave Act, when US Marshals were ordered to return escaped slaves. Quoting the Bible out of context from a place of political power leads to oppression and suffering.

This is Chris Hardwck's ex. Please keep in mind as you witness people calling her crazy, a liar, fucked up, and vengeful that there is no reward for women speaking about being abused by a famous man

I guess that depends on how long your memory is. Anyone who remembers the 2013 legislative session, and how Jones himself helped tank comprehensive sex ed, will have to weigh whether time heals all wounds. Maybe it does. Maybe it doesn’t.

This seat was won by 181 votes, which may change if there’s a recount. It’s like I have been saying — a lot of races, particularly down-ticket, are decided by mere hundreds of votes! This is why voting matters!

This is wrong on every level. Absolutely unconscionable. We’ve all read about dark moments in history and asked ourselves: What would I have done? We face that question now. Speak out.

Usually when I’m on Twitter, I steel myself for the worst. But random stories from and and even are giving me hope in the kind of deep-down goodness Mr. Rogers saw in every human. Well done, humans! I knew you had it in you. 😊
