I've been Andrew Sinclair and now I'll sign off for the last time as a student attending these Varsity games. It's been a pleasure St Andrews, a real pleasure!

Attendance has just been announced as 9687, a touch down on the last two years, but still an incredibly impressive feat for the biggest day in Scottish student sport.

An attempted flair pass for the Edinburgh scrum-half doesn't come off, and when St Andrews broke, Toby Woods cynically took out Fezan Mughal. The home side will finish with 14 men.

Worrying sight for Saints fans. Number 8 TJ Akinjobi, who has been so impressive this afternoon, is now down and looks to be in some discomfort.

TRY TIME!!!!!!!!! Saints are right back in this with a crucial third try. It's the skipper Roland Walker who goes over, reducing the deficit to 4 points.

Right on cue the Saints fans find their voices again, desperately trying to out-sing the stadium PA. I'd give them a solid 8 for that performance!

Whole stadium unites in applause as the player is driven off the pitch. We wish him the best and hope that the injury isn't too serious.

The Edinburgh player is still down and quite rightfully with a head injury they're being very careful. Stretcher and the buggy both on the pitch now.
