That's too bad for you. But many many skilled people, can, and do need meds and still create art, science, music. Please, don't push the idea that people must hurt in order to create. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc all deserve treatment when warranted.

"Science" is a rigorous process for discovering veridical truth and a synonym for "that which has been observed to be true" (along with attendant uncertainties). People often argue the latter without understanding the former.
