Why is almost all plus size fashion unbelievably dowdy, embarrassingly trendy, or impossibly twee? I just need some classic dresses in solid colors.

I don't like how this headlines erases the two female authors on this book, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle.

I avoid tweeting articles like this because all they do is further an incorrect narrative, but nail polish has NOTHING to do with protocol. Nor do tights, car doors or messy buns. This is WRONG! Enough with this nonsense - "How Meghan Broke Royal Protocol "

Pelosi's trip to Afghanistan had been a closely held secret due to security concerns, of course. Very few people knew she was heading there. mentioned Pelosi was headed to Brussels in his presser this morning, which angered Dems.

I confess I am kind of enjoying the irony of all these alleged book lovers not getting mad about Marie Kondo’s advice until someone turned the book into a TV show. (I wonder how many people who are mad about it have a copy of the book they never read?)

This certainly speaks to how alienating the novel publishing scene must have been (and still is) to young writers of color. So many POC arrive at novel writing via poetry or music. A great thing indeed, but the novel publishing biz still needs to do better.

Sent a 5 point numbered email about my writing retreat this weekend to the two other writers and the first point was about wine (and the second was about snacks). Am I doing this right or what?

Ok but Laura the first thing I read this morning was a Mary Oliver poem because of your newsletter and um...how did you do that?
