Did you know that you can be issued a €350 fine if you come by car to and didn't register your car for the new Brussels low emission zone beforehand? Check

Ah 2018. Scrum means "Waterfall but we don't have time for analysis". Kanban means "Scrum, but we don't have time for sprint planning". Agile means "We have no process, but we do use JIRA extensively"

Mid-way through implementing a new CRD-based ACME handling flow for cert-manager, I realised that Kubernetes 1.11 supports CRD custom column printing 😃 I combined the two, and it is *so much clearer* what is going on now! A big 👏🙏 to for getting this out the door!

A quick reminder that nobody in software has any idea how long anything is going to take. Set an optimistic goal, limit the hell out of the scope, and get going. And forgive yourselves when targets slip. Send this tweet to your manager.

Big thanks to my mentors, and David Eads for making this GSoC journey amazing for me. I can't describe how happy I'm that I had a chance to work with you. ❤️❤️ I learned *a lot* about Kubernetes, Go and programming overall over the past four months.

Stop blaming syntax for low productivity. It‘s never the syntax

It is not the syntax, never. People become super productive with the worst syntax (Erlang, Lisp, ...). It is about concepts, expressivity and modularity. Our kube YAML is not good at one of them.

My personal résumé after 6 month of working from home (for an awesome company 😘): I am more focused during work🤓 I have more quality time with my family❤️ I lost some weight and do sports frequently🧗‍♂️ Highly prefer this over commute, open office & ping pong table🤷‍♂️
