I was really shocked when I read that review too. The person who wrote it couldn't have read your book properly at all, Hilary, as he is such a beautifully crafted and completely loved character: loved by his fellow characters, and clearly loved by his creator too.

Our Castle by the Sea read by the author It is just soooooo good. I have listened to 25 audiobooks in 2019 - other top recommendations are Millions and Children of Castle Rock - for great stories and vocal performances
