El Alto, 2:30pm: Many contingents make the long walk towards La Paz which is down hill and has people travelling 25km or more as there is no public transportation, no cars can make it past barricades, and the teleferico is out of service. Video is mine.

Can we give a shoutout to for escalating and forcing the conversation around cash bail. It’s so unpopular to not take a stance against cash bail, particularly from a gendered perspective. The bail outs in 2017 transformed me as an organizer.
