The is hiding behind the Brexit Referendum. But the commitment was made in 2014 - two years before the referendum. It looks like no action was taken during those 2 years to rectify the problem of disenfranchising EU citizens from EU Parliament elections. 4/

Instead of simply instructing the local Electoral Registration Officers to send out forms to EU citizens today, the has decided to outsource the information campaign to NGOs including us, the3million. 5/

We are extremely disappointed with the Electoral Commission not honouring its 2014 commitment to EU citizens. Like in 2014 EU citizens will be turned away again at the polling stations. Deprived of their right to participate in the democratic process of the UK. 6/

Nothing has changed in 5 years because the 2016 referendum came along. So you are basically saying that if we don't follow the 3 strps, we will go on the train for 1/2 h for nothing... Flipping heck, people who have moved here in the past 5 years might get caught.

Is there a form online that everyone who wants to take part can download and print out in a library, or anywhere with a printer? If people work in UK it is in their best interest to make an effort to participate!
