Plus when you're in Japan, faux-pas are often just attributed to the fact you're foreign and are thus easily forgiven.

A paradox for our time: The far Left is disproportionately white, wealthy, and well-educated. So extreme “wokeness” is now one of the most glaring symptoms of “white privilege.”

Same here. It's why many Western Aspies end up living as perpetual expats. Met plenty of them when I was in Japan and China. I guess there they're far less likely to be crucified by sanctimonious bullies for simply being who they are.

Eccentrics & Aspies drive the wheels of scientific progress forward, but are often rendered demonic in contemporary terms because of their inability to intuit political correctness. Thank you for highlighting this important issue.

Agree. Stephen Fry is a national treasure. Neil Gaiman's book on Norse mythology is also superb by the way.

It's a disgrace that charities like NAS aren't more vigilant against predatory ideologues. Sooner or later, it will end up being their undoing.

To claim autism isn't a disability, you'd have to be clinically insane (or clinically 'neurodiverse' perhaps?)

If you would like to release a statement explaining the context in which this unscientific nonsense (particular focus on point 2 as baseless & ideological) was presented please RT. Thanks.

The movement has always been on the fence about whether or not they even consider to be a disability. Those that do say it's disabling will often claim that society is the sole cause of that disability (which is, of course, a fallacy).

I'm shocked that are allowing people to peddle this B/S. You have a responsibility to provide evidence based information not pseudo- scientific quackery. Do better.

It's not nearly as bad as Afua Hirsch & David Lammy would like the public to believe. And it's not as though Danny Baker posting a silly picture is really comparable to the days of the National Front, even though both are labelled under the broad umbrella of racism.
