Never being afraid to ask is important and is good evidence of attention to patient care. I have phoned Local, National, and International experts for advice on disease management. Have referred a patient to the NIH Undiagnosed Diseases Program.

Know what you want to be and do — or make steps towards finding out. Invest time in mentors they invest back. Be humble & kind. Remember Healthcare is a team sport and you’re not that important. And you’re here for patients - not the other way around. Show up. (You know these!)
