We honestly considered every venue we could think of. The auction rooms in Station St would be ready for their sales & there would have been complications up the hill to sell food. We are sorry we had to make this decision.

The second day of the Taste Cumbria Christmas Festival in Cockermouth will not being going ahead today as planned. Organisers took the decision to cancel it yesterday, saying strong gusts of wind were forecast and so they couldn't risk the safety of visitors and traders.

Rain & wind have curtailed our Christmas market in Cockermouth. Weather is the one thing we can't control! Thank you to EVERYONE who came along. We REALLY appreciate your support. We're at for festive music until 7pm. See you back in Cockermouth in September!
