On a clean 10.15 install, drag drop from the Desktop into the simulator fails (works fine from the home dir). Anyone have a workaround? Giving the simulator Full Disk Access doesn’t help.

Try running simulator from terminal (don’t know if this is possible), w/sudo if it doesn’t prompt

I wonder if symlinks to home could help?

I had a problem once where I couldn’t take screenshots because they got a permission error writing to the desktop. It was *extremely* aggravating. Thought it was just the OS. Turned out that a reboot fixed it. Hasn’t happened since so I never got s chance to properly debug it.
