This is a big reason why I went with Amazon fire tablets for my nephews and a Free Time subscription.

Me: *cooking streaky bacon that's more streak than bacon* Me: Hm. I should've saved this for lardons. Him: MMMM ME LIKE! So we're having bacon and egg sammiches for breakfast and I'm wondering what to do with all of this lovely rendered bacon fat.

I've been out of tea for a couple hours, now. However, I can't get up because my partner has fallen asleep with his head in my lap. Guess I'll just get more work done. XD

On the plus side? THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY FLOOFY BIRBS! They are all puffed up to keep warm. It's the highlight of a deep freeze.

Affordable Childcare would change my life. There, I said it. It would also change the lives of millions of other women and their families. It would also benefit the economy. It would also benefit society as a whole. What else needs to be said?

Voting isn't a privilege. It's a right. And requiring voters to pay off fines and fees to exercise that right is a modern-day poll tax.

A deep freeze should really be declared an emergency of some sort. At the very least: - keep your temper, everyone is inconvenienced by a deep freeze - put on more clothes and use blankets rather than jacking up your heat - care about other people and help if you can

Driving a truck doesn't mean: - you're invincible - the rules of physics & ice don't apply to you - you should bully people driving slower because that's the speed they can safely drive - slow down and be respectful you nutsack

Instead of jacking up the heat, put on more clothes. During a deep freeze there is a lot of additional demand on the power grid from space heaters etc. Better we're all bit chilly than without power!

Indoor pets really should be a must in this city in the winter. Nobody needs frozen toe beans.

Many people have transportation issues in a deep freeze and will have to miss some work. Donating to the food bank will help them cover that loss of income.

If you're inclined to donate to help the homeless, your donation keeps people warm and fed and out of the cold.
