If you have an iPad I recommend Syberia 1 & 2 games. They are pretty old but totally playable 😍

If you are a man and meet a woman who codes, don’t praise her as if a chicken had learnt how to fly high, please. Just act normal

I just wanted to thank you for having me at the conference. ☺️ It was exceptional because of the people that were around. I am happy that you believed I could succeed and gave me a chance to do so. 10/10 would speak again.✨ (8)

I knew that the audience wanted me to succeed and it made my talk successful (at least that’s what people told me 😌). I was happy to give it and I wanted to hang around. A lot of people came to me and thanked me. I didn’t feel burnout.💥(7)

I almost didn’t see the people as it was a live coding/debugging session, but I heard them and felt their presence. Every time I said something even remotely sarcastic or funny, they would laugh out loud. I felt they were interested and listening carefully. (6)

What gave me the strenght though wasn’t the fact that I was giving the new talk or the fact that I was able to speak on the same stage with many fantastic people. It was the audience that gave me strength to power through my talk. (5)

It was not the case with the . I was super stressed before, didn’t sleep since 3am in the morning on the day of the talk but still, I felt so much more energized after the talk than before it. I felt pumped and awesome. Even had stamina to party till 3am. (4)

I wouldn’t feel excitment when giving a talk or wouldn’t be happy hanging around the conference venue. When speaking, towards the end of my talk I would feel less and less energetic. (2)

[Thread] As the fantastic has come to an end I had some thoughts about speaking and an audience. For some time now I was feeling like I’ve been experiencing a speaker burnout. 😪 (1)
