so suggested i do an internal lunch & learn workshop next week to introduce peeps to , i’m very very excited about it and also i dont wanna mess this up and ruin typescript for everybody is this what parenting is like

Yes, but imagine running that TypeScript workshop for years and your audience just yells "NO" at you for the duration of every workshop. That's much more like parenting. 😬

Something that has worked for me when introducing TypeScript to peers is starting with the fact that they're already benefitting from it without directly using it (assuming they're using VS Code), and going something like "imagine if we now fully embrace it".
