Yes! “After months of lashing out at Boston officials while they deliberated short-term lease restrictions, Airbnb has eliminated more than half its local inventory to follow City Hall orders.” Read more at:

There are people who view airbnb solely as a party venue. They don’t care what happens to the house, or the suffering neighbors. Search twitter for “airbnb party” sometime and you’ll see what these things are about.

Buying a home used to be a smart and fiscally responsible decision. Now thanks to that investment could be ruined at any time. All it takes is one greedy neighbor setting up a flophouse. Only buy in cities that strongly prohibit this illegal activity.

you have lost my hotel business. I am taking it elsewhere because of your entry into the STR market. These things are neighborhood cancer and shame on you for joining the shady scam company on this.

You’re absolutely right. This company has made the world worse, crushing dreams (and investments) of homeowners worldwide.

For those who love their , it's all fun and games until half your neighborhood is listed and now you have no neighbors or neighborhood just houses being flipped every few days or weeks and filled with new transients. It's sad what it does to once friendly little streets.

If someone in Moss Point, MS is invited to 3 parties, all on the same night, then these party houses are not “rare” like Airbnb tries to tell us - rather party houses have become a platform-wide epidemic.

More fine, upstanding members of ’s “verified & trusted community”. grant these sort of criminals access to our once safe, stable neighborhoods. It’s easy to case other homes in the neighborhood while staying at an AirBnB.

WTF! Texas has really screwed us on this. Devon the reason the neighbors hated the airbnb was not “jealousy over their wealth.” I can guarantee it was frustration at their residential neighborhood turning into a flophouse hotel district.

More like someone doesn’t like illegal hotels in their residential neighborhoods.
