The public voice will get very interesting when large countries experience a deep recession. Most of our current discourse has evolved ina period of economic growth. The anger and mob rule of social media will truly be seen when people start losing their jobs en mass.

I'm curious as to whether you think TV networks should adopt the same policy towards political ads as Facebook? The argument in favor of Facebook here seems to rest on its power... but I don't think it's a given that Facebook has more power over political discourse than TV.
