I am personally working on that project. To allow our soon to be operational amateur radio EmComm and CERT group to have effective weather response capabilities. All without any use of funds from government agencies.

Showed it crossed right over us however it never reach the ground. Radar readings are well above our location to be effective.

An EWR or other portable size weather radar system in my location would be highly effective to show true precipitation and storm activity.

Radar image was showing storms in Jay County. However, we didn't see one drop of precipitation in Dunkirk, Indiana 47336.

Sorry to ask this. However, I live in an area of Indiana that 90% of emergency services personnel, local government officials and citizens have the mindset it "will never happen here " when it comes to disaster preparedness/ response/ relief planning.
