Now, this is the good part of twitter... You just saved the guy's reputation for me. The whole time JM was in Vcr, I wondered what kind of character the 'Caps had brought in. Wish I'd known sooner, but will take it now... Thanks JJ.

Out of the recent signings, who has the dead ball skills to take a free kick and work it over a wall of defenders?

Mine would be Jon Erice. We've never had a DM that could pass towards the other team's end of the pitch.

Air is thin up in that ivory tower. How about Judges open extra courts pro bono so we can get these cases heard in a timely fashion?

One year ago today, I took an eight-minute trip to the ultimate destination. Some good friends and an brought me back. I don’t know how much longer I have to live. That’s true for everyone. I only know that life is beautiful. Live it while you can.

Perhaps you're writing at multiple spots. This is the one I'm looking at: "The 20-year-old, 5-foot-10 midfielder from the South Korean K-League...."

Nice piece, Manuel. As usual. One quibble... Most of the PR says HIB is 22yo, rather than 20.

I'm sure you've second guessed whether your info is being controlled by the club. But who cares? It's good for the club; good for off-season fans and maintaining interest. You've had a great run recently. It's been fun to monitor. Full marks...

This doesn't have to be a huge difference maker acquisition, does it? Looks at least as talented as Techera or Seba F., but with better pedigree. As a piece to the puzzle, looks fine to me.

We had Barry Robson for 30 minutes, and tried to wedge Pedro in that role. But yes, this is exactly the type of player VWFC need.

My guess: strictly a business decision. They are on the hook for the contract, without options. Buyout means a loss of 600k. On a reduced contract (3 x 200k) they can reduce their exposure this year, by say, one third. Then decide next year whether to buyout the rest.

Ah. Yes, a bit of a stretch, but that makes more sense. I guess 'Caps Marketing bats .500 today! (I liked the Asteroids video...)
