I am told by law enforcement officers that this description will likely be a key in officer Guyger’s defense: “Guyger drew her firearm, gave verbal commands that were ignored by...” the victim Botham Jean.

If she thought she was in her own apartment, why did she “return to the front door to observe the address”???

Read closely, it says she turned on the interior lights while she was on the phone with 911. I take that to mean with the lights on she figured out it wasn’t her place and then went to look at address. But who knows with this case.

Boy. Media and white folk really bending themselves into pretzels to give this murderer (who broke into someone else's home?) the benefit of the doubt.

I saw a picture of the officer and Jean together - it appears they may have had a relationship of some kind.

Hi, Steve. Consider this tweet. Can't say I know it to be factual but if it is? I'd say it pretty much guts her 'claim'... and it's already thin.

Wait, I looked at it wrong. That is interesting. I haven’t been in the building. I’ll check.

No. They wrote that because she did walk down the 4th floor hallway. I’m confused why you think she didn’t? Mr. Jean lived on the 4th floor.

Do you have a source for your claim, then? 'Cause I'm not seeing one.

Steve, I hope you are pushing back on these statements and asking all these questions that are popping up in your mentions bc the people of Dallas do not want a precedent set that the cops can execute you in your home and be protected in lieu of the victim. This is duplicitous.

Just to be clear, you are insulting the family of the victim Botham Jean by continuing to spread this lie. The picture that started this was a picture of Mr. Jean and his Price Waterhouse co-workers. HIS family and THEIR attorney say the two didn’t know each other.

With all due respect Mr.Eagar I may not be an attorney or a detective but I’m calling major B.S on this whole thing it’s not my fault that the young man is dead due to her actions and when the truth comes out it’s his family that the DPD has to answer to

Hey man, you don’t even have to go into the “with all due respect” stuff. People are upset, I get it. But the suspect dating the victim accusation has been refuted by all sides. Everything else seems to still be in play.

Mostly I don’t care what you believe. However, you are INSULTING the family of the VICTIM, and their attorney who say the two didn’t know each other. You are insulting his co-workers from Price Waterhouse, who say it’s them in the photo. You know better.
