Worthwhile raising! And in your work with young thinkers to check if they’re over anything divisive on the crucial survival issues? Australia still really difficult country for serious debate: insults, slogans dominate when we should be naming gross injustices & doing far more.

The Common Good agenda? The New Future agenda? I’m totally living a “left” agenda, always have, but the future belongs to the young who are weary of left/right and just want to accelerate social & climate justice. Might they respond to something visionary & explicitly inclusive?

I’ve also been to .Yes, US sanctions have terribly harmed the economy. But they DON’T have drug addiction, illiteracy, gun violence, street crime, homelessness, blatant racism or crazed religious fundamentalism. It’s one of the safest, most welcoming countries I’ve visited.

“Pathological power: ...narcissists crave attention and affirmation, and feel they are superior to others and have the right to dominate them. They also lack empathy which means they are able to ruthlessly exploit and abuse people for the sake of power.”

Isn’t it possible for to run banners in real time to support journalists when politicians slide, glide, do anything but stay accountable. If FACTS on record, they need to be displayed. So many here on very capable of providing evidence. Truth at last?

This fabulous project is how millions, billions should be invested. Not on Mars. Best tweet of the day. So who in Australia can take us into the future (when Govt never will)?

We now have both "Canberra bubble" and "gossip" as useful triggers for further journalistic inquiry.

Same bullies who go on about any social progress...especially when it should provide better protection for women and children.Any halfway decent person is appalled at Morrison’s cynical appointments. And totally supports far greater resourcing of & all social services.

The problem with climate change is that the damage is happening *now* and can't be undone - the younger generations *will* be the ones to suffer. They *should* be angry and worried The fault is not that adults have scared them but that we have given them a reason to be so

As a foreign reporter visiting the US I was stunned by Trump's press conference | Donald Trump | ⁦⁩ This has, correctly, gone viral. ⁦⁩ ⁦⁩ both holding up the lantern to the disaster of politics.

“As a foreign reporter...I’d understood the dilemma of normalising Trump’s ideas and policies...But watching just one press conference helped me understand how...reporting about this president can mask and normalise his full and alarming incoherence.” 🥁🥁

This matters. heads a ministry profoundly implicated in Australia’s future. Is he trustworthy on any matter, political, environmental -or financial? What are his interests? Surely for to pursue forensically.

In endless chat about prices do we ever hear about the deleterious effects of unchecked privatisation? It’s the sole purpose it often seems of rampantly self-interested neo-lib, hyper-capitalist governments globally. And yes, we have one.

Fran did persist. But we didn’t hear about the trashing of entire Galilee Basin... Clive Palmer, Adani buying favours. And has to be propped up by billions of our tax dollars while wrecking GBR and irreplaceable water sources. we thank you for nothing.

We have to hope is watching as does try valiantly with the appallingly untrustworthy She’s challenging him. Go, Fran! But oh how florid are Taylors’s obfuscations. “Business wants rules.” And sane people globally want a future.

No actual criticism of the fundamental assumption that the most dangerous, militaristic nation on earth might have any “right” to go to war again. Again. How many millions lives lost in 21stC alone? How many dispossessed? Yet now prefers to talk abt B. Houston!
