After much consideration, and exhausting every opportunity for to do the right thing, I’ve decided to share my assault, from the passenger behind me, and the further threats, from an American Airline flight attendant. She offered him a complimentary cocktail!

I was contacted via phone by , they apologized but really didn’t accept any responsibility for the flight attendant’s actions. I will be calling the FBI to press charges against the “man” who mistook me for a punching bag. Anyone who doesn’t like it, I don’t care!

There's a reason multiple airlines have removed reclining seats. It's rude.. but the real issue here is you feeling entitled to something you don't deserve. You reclined into his space then cry about it when he asked you not to. The assault took place when you laid in his lap.

Wrong. Airlines are removing that functionality so they can cram as many people onto a plane they can. Us consumers are putting up with their BS! The airline sold the ticket with reclining as a feature so lady can use that feature. The airlines need to give more space to people

AGREE. He has real issues. I am glad you didn't engage with him. It would have put you and others who may have come to your aid at risk. The airlines should have moved him elsewhere and had a cop waiting for him when he got off the plane. You deserve to be safe at 30,000 feet.

Agree, the seat recliner is there to be used. The attendant should have explained this to him. And told him to stop his agressive behavior

I don't blame the guy for being irritated. I've been in his position and it isn't fun. I don't blame either - her seat reclines and she should be able to recline it. I blame the greedy airline for not appropriately managing seat pitch and recline angle.

Airlines are making the flying experience untenable in the coach section.
