Not to mention that it offers some flexibility in data collection because if you’ve included semi-structured protocol in your IRB paperwork, you don’t have to stick to the approved questions that you often have to submit for IRB approval.

This is definitely a benefit to using semi-structured formats. You can prepare a list of potential questions that you may (not) use, but adapt as you go.

“If you want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major for justice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major for righteousness...I just want to leave a committed life behind.” Today, on your 91st birthday, we can say that you did.

: What is the main inaccuracy or lie that you feel like you could correct? : "That the president didn't know what was going on. President Trump knew exactly what was going on. He was aware of all of my movements. ... I was on the ground doing their work."

4 corporations control 60% of 🐓 market, 66% of 🐖, and 84% of 🐄. These monopolies control prices, markets and choices for farmers — pushing them off the farm. We need to reinstate & strengthen GIPSA, the office that enforces antitrust law & protects farmers from retaliation.

The New Year has begun with our world in turmoil. My message is clear: Stop escalation. Exercise maximum restraint. Re-start dialogue. Renew international cooperation. Let us not forget the terrible human suffering caused by war. It is our common duty to avoid it.

Hate crimes against latinx immigrants has risen in ways we can measure (reports) and in ways that we can't (latinx immigrants are sometimes too terrified to report). The El Paso massacre was four months ago. People like me sometimes think twice about speaking Spanish in public.

I have one of the desktop risers for my computer & monitors at work. It was fairly inexpensive. I enjoy having the option and use it frequently. My advice though: get a wireless keyboard & mouse to minimize the cords if you get a riser.
