New recipe for weather that can’t make up it’s mind - chicken jumbo which is my take on Elkie Brooke’s recipe back in the day with Napoli sauce finished off with pan fried okra to thicken. Halfway between gumbo and jumbalaya. Available from about 4pm until 7pm.

New and improved counter packaging for homemade vinegar slaw courtesy of a friend who got in a booze cruise to St Omer. Dead easy to make - see label. I’ll miss Le Parfait jars if it all goes Pete Tong . . .

What’s your veggie filling? I’m thinking of making pumpkin, sage and bulgar as an alternative to my spicy mexican chorizo ones.

The sun shines after the rain so I’ve got my Paleo recipe book and steak knife out - just a question whether to make ‘elfy vinegar coleslaw or make green slaw with salsa verde and skyr Viking style

Comfort food? John’s pedigree Zwartble (think Boris Johnson trying to speak Dutch and you’ve got it!) lamb from Barby just 7 food Mike’s away. Making mechoui lamb rub or salsa verde next to go with. Once upon a time shops sold their own food!
