Be nice if Oshie could actually get a shot on goal instead of firing em high each time

Actually agree - but saying the world is fine with four doesn’t make for much of a debate so where is the fun in that - I like that the Players has its own identity. And would ruin the whole notion of a grand slam if there were 5

Okay - I’ll play then. The “majors” have changed over time since Jones’ day’s when it was the Opens and the AMs. If the Masters can somehow become one why can’t the Players. Superbly strong field, same historical track annually, amazing fan support

“And heaven forbid my 3-year-old should break up a lively game of cornhole on the lawn” - nah pretty sure the parent should be the one preventing the 3-year old from doing that.

So spending the day doing pretty much the exact same thing I would do on July 4th with a Corona instead of a BudLight is now a condemnable offends in today’s society. Thanks for setting the record straight

Followed then by Jason Day’s pull hook into the water and Watneys pulled drive into the drink as well

so glad to see the consistency. Hit makes contact with head, unsuspecting/defenseless victim, avoidable hit by the player initiating contact, situationally unnecessary due to the time left and goal differential. But Penguins

Ummm wait what? So height of a player is somehow irrelevant in a check? Wow I must have missed that lesson

Wow. Agree reputation and the leagues nonsensical approach to considering the injury as part of it

Fact is merely I have a hard time having much empathy for Pens fans whining about Wilson as a goon when they had the likes of Cooke, Kasper, Ulf - and had no gripes about their style. All play the edge and ya love em if their yours and hate em if they aren’t

Matt Cooke 17 years in the league - compared to Wilson with 5. Of those 17 only 4 times did he break the 14 goal mark - clearly an offensive powerhouse. Try again, try harder

Not much empathy for team that had Matt Cooke on the payroll - at least Wilson can skate a regular shift

Both players went for the hit, wasn’t defenseless at all. Initial point of contact looks like both went shoulder to shoulder/chest. Skates on ice at impact. defer to Paul Devorski’s take “they all got together, and they said, 'You know what? We've got a good, clean check here.'"
