They didn't disrespect the flag. They peacefully and reverently knelt.

Mostly, yeah. I want him hitting as much as possible. And yeah, analytics tell us he actually gets more chances to drive in runs.

When did quietly and peacefully kneeling become a sign of disrespect? Seriously? It's both a form of protest and reverence. It's not like they shot up double-birds and turned their backs to the flag. That's actually, you know, disrespectful. My god, people.

I'm sure you're equally as disgusted with the dude who yells go to hell LSU during the anthem, right

Breein Tyree: “I’m not entirely sure who started, but I was a part of it. I don’t anticipate it being a multi-game thing. We’ve never done that before. It really just has to do with them coming to our campus during a basketball event. That event was going on during the game.”

They weren't disrespecting the troops, my man. I'm sure you have as much, if not more, consternation for the dude who yells go to hell LSU during the anthem, right? That's, really, disrespectful, if we're playing this game.

Breein Tyree, on players kneeling: "We're tired of these hate groups coming to our school and portraying our campus like it's our actual university having hate groups in our school. The majority of it is we saw one of our teammates doing it, didn't want him to be alone."

Kermit Davis, on players kneeling: "I was not (aware). This was all about the hate groups that came to our community. It's created a lot of tension. I think our players made an emotional decision. We respect our players decision to do that."
