I'm an accountant who got slightly side-tracked into technology. I love dogs, horses and the theatre. All views my own.

Would this trilogy be suitable for an (almost) thirteen year old? I loved them, and I think my daughter will also adore them overall, but I can't remember if there was anything in the detail that I wouldn't want her to read!

That was based on the idea of a quick 2 minute shower. If you've got long, thick hair to shampoo twice and then condition that's never going to happen, so the water usage is far more comparable than you might think.

The sofa doesn't have a child-proof lock. Long bath, read a book or, controversially, watch TV/film on your Kindle Fire with the volume turned up so you can't hear the cries of "Mum, where's my {insert lost item of the day}?"

I didn't even have lockdown as an excuse when I did it. Just no other coins in the house.

I'm star-struck.🤩 I just 'met' DI Natalie Ward, David and all the characters in my books rolled into one when I video-chatted with who narrates the series. What a terrific talent. She brings characters to life perfectly. And... she's truly delightful.

I hope it goes well, Michelle. Good luck! P.S. If you can say "Children, stay in your bubble" without channelling Joyce Grenfell, you're a better woman than me!! 🤣🤣

I think theatre will totally survive. We may lose some beautiful old buildings as they become blocks of flats, but theatre will continue in multi-use buildings. With enough toilets!! And disabled access!! And seats designed for taller people...

I think I’ve worked it out... * 4 year olds can go to school, but university students who have paid for the tuition they haven’t had and the accommodation they aren’t living in, can’t go to university.

Even when it's strictly same sex, I can't imagine ever choosing communal changing over a lovely, private cubicle.

I remember my dad was really cross with John Thaw for playing an "old man" in this as John was a year younger than my dad. Dad said it showed what a good (young) actor John was, though!

Poet Pam taking no prisoners, says JUDY FINNIGAN Oh PLEASE! I not write this poem! Jan Beaumont from New Zealand wrote it, and her family is very upset that it keeps being attributed to me. Do please check your facts.
