Lots of examples. Local supermarkets where I live really held things together for freaked-out people when this started last spring. Who had supermarkets as vital to pandemic response? The CDC, on the other hand....

I will just never understand this behavior. The NYC mayor told everyone to stay home, then took his suv to the gym. I... will just never understand that.

Yes, I think any vote for these folks is deplorable, but there's a bigger issue here. No matter our vote, we should all deplore putting targets on the heads of people doing their duty. And it's important to point out the gutlessness of going along with Trump's goons here.

The two Senators in his state need to step up.. and he’s condemning their lack of action but: hey! He’s still voting for them! If you’re wondering why this speech, as nice as it is, ultimately doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot.

Is this a: “... but when they came for Georgia’s voting systems manager there was no one left to speak for him...” kinda thing?

Been saying this for years. It’s a bad idea, it’s a lame as events go, and it’s journalistically a mistake.

i admire the way so many of you think any of these people are going down for crimes. its the equivalent of me thinking the marvel cinematic universe is real.
