Last time I checked it was structural inequality, undervaluing of ‘women’s work’, conception of skill, & gender based stereotypes that were central to the gender pay gap, not exposed clavicle flesh & a hint a décolletage. But thanks for having our backs, Andrew.

Things that offend me while flying: drunk men groups of drunk men men being lecherous to the attendants aggressive drunk men stag parties men scratching their balls drunk men shouting at their wives/kids drunk men things that don't offend me: children being fed

Do me a favour, next time any one of you feels like writing a “Trump and his supporters aren’t racist” piece, just have a watch of this and shut the fuck up.

So in about a week, Boris Johnson is going to be the Prime Minister of the UK. I was at University with him. If you’d told me in 1988 this was going to happen I’d have said there was more chance of our great nation being led by a drunk horse. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

"the planes will fly, there will be clean drinking water, and there will be adequate supplies of glucose, milk solids and whey" is, fundamentally, a very weird thing for a politician to say and for a crowd to cheer

A cult of white supremacists chanting “send her back” in support of Donald Trump’s racist attack on Ilhan Omar. Fascism spreads like wildfire. Especially when it comes from the President of the United States of America. Chilling to my core.

They’re trying to get Ilhan Omar killed. It’s that simple.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right about 2020. But worried he's ignorant of how this rhetoric can get out of hand and he's being manipulated by people who want exactly that. Couple that with white supremacist instincts and trouble ensues irrespective of election result...

A new low. I don't know if he knows what he's doing here, but it is incredibly malign.

I have written to Ruskin College along with nine other trade union general secretaries, calling on them to halt their disciplinary and redundancy proceedings against members. If Ruskin does not de-escalate UCU will consider calling a boycott.

We should all be appalled by recent events at Ruskin. The wider trade union movement needs to stand with victimised trade unionists. I hope sister unions will apply pressure to Ruskin. Solidarity with UCU members at Ruskin ♥️✊🏻. The college should be ashamed.

Knew would be on the ball with this. Employers can expect a whole new approach from UCU when you victimize our activists. The whole TU movement will stand up to anyone who attacks our reps.

Remember Cambridge Analytica? Not long ago right? So I wonder why my friends are enthusiastically sharing aged/gender swapped pictures of themselves on an app called The creator is a Russian tech firm we don't know much about, Wireless Lab. 1/

I just got a nice little shiver when working out whether the binary on the ribbon of the new £50 banknote meant anything. 1010111111110010110011000 is 23061912 in decimal. Alan Turing was born on the 23rd June 1912. What a nice touch. RIP, Alan.
