"It's the Laser Sharks! 🦈" Wanted to make more portraits inspired by the MvC1 style I've done previously, and the sharks I designed for Protos and Savant Ascent seemed like a good fit. Appraciate everyone dropping by to join the process live. #SavantAscent #MvC #illustration

Livestream has concluded. This seems to have worked pretty good as an alternative, so I'll likely be doing stream announcements like this in the future, until guidelines change. Appreciate everyone stopping by!

Lets test something: I am live on Twitch (Snakepixel) right now painting laser sharks. Twitter has been tanking engagement when you post links, so I'm skipping that and you can jump to twitch to find me. Curious if that'll make the algorithm a little less aggressive

I'd been doodling pixels on my parents computers since around age 6. My family had noticed an article in a French magazine about a "program that lets you make games" It took years until they found out it was called Klik&Play. I immediately made a clone of Time Crisis 2. Badly.

Can finally show the next game we're working on! It's the 10-year anniversary of our first game: Savant Ascent and we really wanted it to shine. It's a completely reworked game with lots of new content. Really satisfying to come back to this game after a whole decade.

As far as I can tell, in Norway the current theme for Easter is crime. There's Easter crime marathons and chickens solving murder in the air

Just received my copy of the Pixel Art: Metroid. I was given the opportunity to provide the foreword for the book and it's great seeing it all come together!

Anyway, an air bubble in the pipes just shot the sink cap through my coffee pot like a bullet and I'm currently brewing coffee in a mixing bowl...

Felt like doing some adventure game experiments. Its an old idea of mine. The setting is an arctic colony in the future as new shipments arrive. Scene is created using the same resolution and illustration techniques as classic titles, with a bit of my own flair.

Honestly, at some point I'd like to make either an animated movie or series. Considering the amount of time I'd need, it seems unlikely, but its certainly there in my mind quite a lot.
