The biggest compliment that can be offered to CSS Grid is that when you search for "CSS Grid Frameworks" you see no frameworks and only comparisons between frameworks and using Grid natively. It's the first browser feature so good alone it doesn't need abstraction.

When designers attack a brand/icon redesign it's like they revert back to their own unhealed wounds from abusive/mocking/unfair feedback they've received, and vent it out at other designers, repeating the same pattern.
