Looks like we won’t have a decision from the Pac-12 before Thursday.

I’m just thankful that we’re closing in on at least seven weeks of Noon Big Ten games and Pac 12 After Dark. Neither looked likely before January not that long ago.

Just to clarify: There is no formal minimum for CFP consideration. But it’s hard to imagine a 7-0 team being taken seriously if others get to 10/11. Big Ten champ will at least get to nine.

Bay Area schools are the last two dominoes for Pac-12 return, at least with regard to local ordinances

You didn’t want to spend the weekend in Waco?

Would be a 7-game season. Presumably no CFP consideration but champ would still get its NY6 berth.

It really doesn’t get more Pac-12 then this: football team busted while hiking.

BREAKING: U-M faculty approve no confidence vote in President Mark Schlissel. It's the first time in the school's 200-plus year history a no confidence vote has ever been taken, much less passed. via

update with CEO meeting underway: -- Only chance of a vote today is if presidents take an unexpected path (entirely possible) -- Expect them to reconvene this weekend, Monday at the latest. -- They are going to vote to play, it's just a matter of 10/31 or 11/7

Big Ten doesn’t need press releases, it’s got Nebraska.

You’re assuming they’ll still get in all their games.

One of the most fun stories I’ve gotten to write in some time. Meet the star of the hilarious viral Big Ten Zoom calls.

I’m not a doctor, but according to the medical committee, it can detect it at such a low level that the person isn’t contagious yet.

Changed their minds when new technology became more widely available. They still bungled every step of the process, but it might just work out in the end.

They canceled their season in part because they weren’t comfortable with the testing situation. New technology became more widely available shortly after they did. They probably should have held off a month instead of calling it off.

Not sure contract tracing differentiates between the two.

Prediction: The Big Ten is going to come out of this mess looking a lot wiser for waiting on the daily rapid response tests. ... The current way ain’t working.
