We're back up now—keeping a close eye on things to make sure there are no further errors. But, sleep is good anyway :)

Hi Bill! We have special syntax for including inline LaTeX as part of text, see This works inside of tables too, although you will need to open the deck outside of the editor to see the rendered math.

Working on a talk for next week and am reminded yet again how much I like . You can pull off some pretty neat tricks with their auto-animations between slides...

Hey! We don't prettify the HTML for the presentation contents so you'd need to use something like Prettier if you want to clean that up. The rest of the HTML, like the metadata and JS should be neatly formatted with newlines though. ~Hakim

That looks like a really useful resource, thanks! I'll take a look at addressing some of those errors soon, when I'm back to full speed after vacations. ~Hakim

Hey! I checked our support queue but can only see a single support ticket from five minutes ago, which we’ll make sure to reply to. If there was another message that has been unanswered was that sent from a different email address?

We do! :) Inline SVG is even better when combined with the built-in CSS editor. It lets you do things like animating path outlines, or inverting colors based on the darkness of the current slide background.

We're back online. Very sorry about the extended downtime. We know how critical Slides is to many of you and will review what happened today in depth to make sure we learn and improve.

Hey. There isn't, our export and Dropbox sync features require a paid account. I wish we could give more away for free, but it's a delicate balance giving people enough reason to upgrade so that we can remain in business. ~Hakim

It's hard to provide an ETA but we're expecting things will be up and running normally in ~2hrs. We're trying to do everything we can do speed it up. Really, really sorry about the downtime. ~Hakim

Very sorry about the unexpected downtime. We try our best to safeguard against things like this but unfortunately it's hard to protect against everything. We're working on restoring the failed server that caused this and are hoping everything will be back to normal in ~2hrs.
