I value integrity, honesty, good humour and empathy. That should tell you enough about my politics and philosophy.

It's called Test and Trace. Already out there, in all its zombie glory.

Are they home grown Zombies or ones that arrived in dinghies? Significantly affects the response.

Neither, but designated high risk, we wear medical grade masks and are rigorous, but rates still very high. Perhaps somewhere you wouldn't think of. But I have also attended hospital as a patient, so seen that from the other side too.

Horrendous. Very proud my employers actively support Pride events.

You. I'm laughing at you. I don't need any videos, I see Covid for myself every day ( well, not this week as am isolating, but that's because I HAVE been seeing it).

It's not rare where she is. Perhaps her small community is unusual, I wouldn't know. However, I understand in some other parts of the country cases are now soaring and restrictions being brought in 🤔

My friend temporarily resident in Sweden. It may not be law, but ppl nr her are wearing masks, distancing, staying home where they can. Only where too many are selfish does enforcement become a necessity.

Northern businesses aren't coping with having huge numbers of staff off without warning...a short lockdown gives some certainty. A long, open ended one... Well in that case, you'd have a point.

I don't want one. However, just been to local hospital. 15 ambulances queuing at A and E & a nurse going round the wards asking for spare oxygen cylinders, presumably for those waiting, means I see no option.

You're willfully missing the point. Yes, this is happening. There is *no* law to stop them claiming here and no incentive for interim nations to stop them moving through. Doesn't necessarily mean "middle class liberals" agree with this, they're just stating current situation.

No, they are granted the right to be *considered* for asylum. Not the same as *granted* by any means.

Having just seen the queue of ambulances outside HRI, certainly not much good news about 😔

Provided they immediately seek asylum, it is not illegal. You can legally swim if you want, or come by balloon. What counts is seeking asylum on entry.

Because as you state you are an asylum seeker, permission is granted. I've seen it happen. I'm not saying it's great, I'm saying it's the reality and if you want that changing, leave the asylum seekers alone, it's not their problem, and go tell Priti Patel.

So, to summarise, you can't show me the law. That's fine.
