So the plot thickens, had electrician come out to check out the charger etc. Charger was working fine for the last three weeks. Noticed about a week ago, my car wasn’t getting charged fully over night. Didn’t think to much of it. Until it shocked the piss out of me when I
Touched the metal on my car. So he came out and checked it out. The ground and the hot were flipped in the @tesla charge box. He was baffled, because he knew he installed it correctly and I know he did because the vehicle was charging just fine.
This tells me that some fuck, who knew what they were doing, came and opened up the charger box and flipped the wires while it was still hot. Which is possible and easy to do if you know what you are doing. In turn by doing this it made my car the ground...
Which means my car was energized at about 120, which has the potential to seriously hurt or kill someone. To say the least I am putting my charge box on the inside of my garage now. So be carful Tesla people on the island.
