Has Parallax Mapping been a thing in Eevee yet, or do I have something interesting here? (Haven't figured it out completely though) texures , hdri

Thanks :) It's probably mostly due to the fact that There are only planes. It's really limited right now, haven't been able to wrap my mind around correct parallaxing with UV's yet.

Hey wow. Parallax has been a thing that's missing. How have you got this going?

Once I knew what I had to do this simplified state actually wasn't that hard. Just some vector calculations into tangetial space. But I am not sure how to get this done universally. I'll upload the file once I'm somewhat content

Ye, true... It's still lacking a lot at this point. Was a nice challenge nonetheless

You can check that out. I might make a tutorial once I implemented mine fully.

Amazing! That´s no bump! That looks like displace. How did you do it? Is displacement already available?

I'm using a method that is called parallax mapping: It basically simulated depth by altering texture coordinates based on viewing angle
