Ha, I may very well have been! It sounds familiar, but somehow crazy people on the street gravitate towards me every day, so it's hard to remember :)

It was pretty great, although they were reportedly forbidden from displaying an actual noose anywhere.

I recall enjoying THE GALLOWS myself, but that may be because the junket was so much fun. Interviews were on the stage of an actual high school auditorium!

I have yet to see a single Target TMNT in the wild :( I'm hoping they reissue the original, darker green turtles at some point.

Information from the Picard comic book prequel miniseries combined with the most recent Short Trek suggests that (at least) one of the TNG regulars is no longer alive when the series begins.

In this clip, Jaga tells you each of the ThunderCats’ names and what their deal is - it’s basically a spoken word Jellicle Ball.

That's the rumor, unfortunately, but I'm not sure myself.

The rumor is that doesn't include English subtitles, but it's available through Amazon France for shipping next month. They took down the art, but it's almost certainly that design.

Movie ticket inflation is pretty crazy. A few years ago, you could pay to see LOVE & MERCY. Now it's roughly the same price for JUST MERCY!

It's unclear exactly when the story is set, but it's certainly the furthest filmic point we've seen TNG era since STAR TREK NEMESIS 18 years ago. After such a long time, the prospect of finally seeing these characters again feels like a wish being granted.

The new Short Trek, "Children of Mars" is excellent. The central narrative is aesthetically simple, but emotionally potent. Meanwhile, nearly every shot is packed with subtle clues about the state of the 24th century as we head into Picard in two weeks. I cannot wait.

The only thing messing with my OCD is that I wish the title on the spine was facing the other direction. Otherwise, it's perfect.
