The reminder feature uses spaced repetition. The prompt only shows up once a week after you have correctly entered your PIN several times, but it becomes more frequent if multiple attempts are necessary.

The latest update for Signal iOS now automatically follows your system theme settings on iOS 13, but you can still manually choose between eternal light and permanent darkness in the Appearance menu if you refuse to be a part of the system.

There was no break in security. Some users encountered a bug related to refreshing the short-lived sender certificates that are used for Sealed Sender (). Messages could not be sent on Desktop. That's the full extent of the impact.

We use certificate pinning. What you're pointing out is unrelated.

Every group member in Signal has the same permissions right now. Enabling support for admins is one of the improvements that we are working on. The blog post goes into more detail if you are interested.

They are included in encrypted backups on Android. On iOS, when you receive a message from an unknown group, Signal requests group info from the sender. You can also ask someone in the group to do a group update too. We're working on improvements:
