The strongest argument for socialism is that it sounds good. The strongest argument against socialism is that it doesn't work. But those who live by words will always have a soft spot in their hearts for socialism because it sounds so good.

Because EVs pollute less over their life cycle than fossil fuel burners, as proved by scholarly study after scholarly study, even on today’s grid (will get cleaner over time), even in the worst polluting state (Wyoming: also the least populous state):

Waiting for the day this myth dies down. But the more fundamental issues seems to be that we are falling into the trap of perfect vs better. Climate change cannot be solved overnight. Only realistic path forward is by transitioning to 'greener' sources of power and transport.

Very few people know of him outside startup circles. It's because of who he is, stays out of the limelight. Writing a book on him may not generate much sales I guesn

Regulations are super dangerous. I am sure you know how illogically bureaucrats behave. Startups will learn to deal with these things over time.

This is why I am actually OK with Modi attacking Nehru. This thinking was pushed by Congress after independence where profit was a bad word and govt was the answer to everything. We need to fundamentally rewrite our textbooks and educate people on how the economy functions

Trump is a curious case demonstrating the advantage of capitalism. Even if the top leader is incompetent, the economy keeps chugging along because all the decision making is decentralized with people voting with their wallets.

⁩ ⁦⁩ Can’t believe how hard it is to change the default card used to charge App Store purchases. The settings option for payments refuses to load every single time.

BTW, if SC verdict is sacrosanct, why Telcos only? GAIL, Oil India, Power Grid, GNFC etc. should also be forced to pay their dues, no? After all, that was the judgment...! Let them all go under n take their lenders n controlling shareholders as well...!
