“...Someone convinced that sexism and misogyny play a large role in elections, yet who responds not by doubling down on their efforts to support and bolster female candidates, but by voting for a male rival.”

The Keller Center at Princeton University Jun 3
Keller Center standout Rachel Yee has won the Walter E. Hope Class of 1901 Medal. The award recognizes the senior who, in the judgment of the student’s classmates, has done the most for Princeton. We couldn't agree more!!!

Spring is a bittersweet time. 1)Mamá and me, the day I got into Princeton and 2) the day I graduated almost 1 year ago. Thinking a lot about the woman who made me - I promised her I’d never give less than 100%. La lucha sigue.

So, when denied entry into Kenya with diplomatic passports, Somali ministers are now pulling up western passports to gain access? In Mogadishu, they live in sheltered barracks; in Nairobi, they live in hotels. In the west, their families live in safety. Who do they represent?

At our annual cocktail party tonight, I was reminded that I've been fortunate to find a home at 48 University Place, but, like the author, it's also been a space where I've felt out of place. And I know, for even more underrepresented communities, this feeling is amplified. (3/4)
