Rewatched Signs tonight. Honestly still one of my favorites from the early 2000s.

It took a bit longer to really "hook" me compared to Origins and Odyssey for some reason, but about 38 hours in, I'm loving it. Raids are great, combat is brutal, story is getting interesting.

I don't get physically ill from games lol. If a game doesn't end up being great, I play it, think "Well that could have been better", and move on.

6/ or 343 or Rockstar or whoever, I'll never understand automatically tearing everything down. So with that, I'll choose to remain optimistic and wish everyone at BioWare the best, and look forward to the next Dragon Age, more Mass Effect, and whatever else they have cooking :)

4/ for over 20 years, EACH. That's a very long time for anyone to be at one company. Companies that are around for decades WILL eventually change leadership, people come, people leave. No one's going to stay around forever at any place, generally speaking.

3/ "There's no one left." "Only a matter of time it's shuttered", etc. That's not at all accurate, firstly. There are still a lot of veterans there, they're just not in the spotlight really. And more importantly, leaders like Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah have been at the studio

2/ Mass Effect and Dragon Age going through tumultuous years obviously isn't fun. I think there are a lot of players out there who think there genuinely aren't any more 'old school' people at Bioware left. I think so because I see comments like that all the time.

1/ Some thoughts on BioWare news today: I'm ever optimistic. It's not a weird forced optimism sort of thing. When things go down, I always like to look at all angles and talk to people. That being said, the studio that brought me gems like Baldur's Gate, Jade Empire, KOTOR,
