Hopefully she threw in a few metal straws with that and some ideas on how to get rid of inhalers.

Didn't anyone tell you yet this week you just have to think more positive to rewire your brain? You'll start liking everyone after that.

My whole brain is having a hard time with the fact that someone thinks this. It might be my brain injury.Or the lyme disease.Or the POTS not pumping oxygen to my brain.I'd leave the house and ask some of my friends about it but then I wouldn't be disabled. 🤭

I have brought this up to the community theatres I am involved in. Someone suggested that we just carry a person up the stage stairs if they can't do it. Like that is a reasonable suggestion. There are already a number of people the stairs are an issue for.

I was told this by someone working in a brain injury clinic. I have a brain injury. It makes me feel my disability doesn't matter, I don't deserve services, I too need to pretend I don't have a disability, need to try harder to fit into an ableist world.

I live by myself in a very rural area on a dirt road. I have no option but to drive myself to run errands. I have no option but to suck it up when I pass out from taking a shower. Basic tasks are hard/confusing most days. I am left to figure it out.

Real talk : I have no peripheral vision, limited depth perception, spots that look like water drops, lack of balance/smell/taste, memory loss, aphasa, hearing is off. These are the good days. I am considered well enough to not need in home care.

Can we all promise to stop using phrases like dirty dick/dirty vagina, asking our partners if they are 'clean' when what we mean is are they healthy? All my love, Got part of my cervix removed due to cancer and done feeling less of a woman/unwhole/unclean.

At the start of seeing neurologists I was told I would be fine in a year. I didn't believe them. I unfortunately was right. Traumatic brain injuries morph. Managing some of the stuff that used to be hard, gaining more impossiblities

I can not say enough times how much reading your book helped to quiet some of the negative thoughts/fears in my head about being a mom with mental illness. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I will not flash Twitter. I will not flash Twitter. I will not flash Twitter. Even if I think it's for a good cause.

The part where I'm finally in the zone and words are flying out of my fingers. I also love every part of editing for others: developmental, line, those phone calls to assure them they are in fact doing a fantastic job and should not hit delete.
