After what’s been a dire gameweek, Saiss getting subbed before Newcastle’s equaliser and keeping his 6pts has been highlight of my weekend

Isn’t Tier 4 just a short circuit breaker under a different name? I suppose it’s just another ‘question of semantics’, as Tory MP Alok Sharma said about the feted Australian Deal just last week 🤔

Would you buy a second-hand car from Brandon Lewis? That’s the question to ask yourself. Utterly disingenuous

Labour go 2pts ahead of the Tories in the polls and the public overwhelmingly back Andy Burnham. I’ll drink to that

Tory MPs like Ben Bradley attacking ‘virtue signalling’ is clear divide and rule to turn people against benefits claimants and shore up the base. It’s Tory 101 and was a big part of Cameron / Osborne agenda - austerity, PIPs, strivers vs scroungers. Awful

Absolutely Mark. Outside of metropolitan areas and university towns etc people had a massive problem with him - mostly to do with the lack of patriotism, IRA, Hamas stuff etc. He was Johnson’s dream opponent amid all the Brexit English nationalism

The Times reports from Leigh, Greater Manchester today. In it, several working class locals say they only voted Tory because they couldn’t vote for Corbyn. I heard the same in my own hometown during the election. It echoed across the north. That’s why JC could never be PM.

Unfortunately for you I am a governor at that very school. I have just spoken to the head and I can assure you that our view is very much that the kids need FSM. I ask you to correct this and not give false impressions of a school who fight tooth and nail for their kids.

Is that Roger Daltrey of The Who with John Bishop? That’s totally random but utterly brilliant

After this week, first with Manchester and now with Marcus Rashford, I think we can all agree that this Tory party isn’t - and never was - with the working class

Why is the Daily Mail not even covering the Marcus Rashford story when it’s leading Channel 4 News and dominating Twitter?

Ben Bradley squaring up to Marcus Rashford over free school meals is absolute jokes. It’s like he thinks he’s going up against Corbyn or something 🤦‍♂️
