It’s interesting how the people who demand their right to freedom of speech in these protests are the same people who send threatening, aggressive and expletive emails to journalists because they don’t like the fact the free press have covered them.

This was a heart stopping moment with a pod of orcas. I stood beside Deirdre as she took this video. And bonus she is from Ireland living in Melbourne!

RIP Mary Oliver. How does a person learn to put words together like this? What a legacy. What a loss.

I'm just gonna keep tweeting this. This is such a masterclass in interviewing. It dawned on me that people don't hold power to account and just straight up print the transcripts anymore.

Authors do not earn loads of money. The average income of an author is only £10.5k a year (which works out at less than the minimum wage). If you buy a £6.99 Book, they get about 36p. And that is only if you buy it full price. If you grab a ‘discount’ they get even less.

100% of sparrows living on Swiss farms have neonicotinoid insecticides in their feathers, demonstrating the pervasive nature of these chemicals. Note that the most common one was thiacloprid, which is not covered by EU ban.
