I still see them as PTs, will see if it feels like when I'm there. I was a fan of RPTQS, but apparently a lot of people prefered to have tournaments than can qualify them directly to something more special.

Less than 300???? Also the number of ptqs will get properly distributed as long as the system settles...

I'm also curious if you would make a 1000 players PT or you would cut half of the invites.

I respect your opinion but I disagree. GPs don't require invite, it's very different. LATAM series and RPTs are going to be very good for our region. Also I think mtgo ptqs that don't go over 200 players like the ones now are very important.

RPTs makes it easier to qualify for the first time and not depend too much on not losing ptq finals, specially for LATAM.

But you still got plenty of great players. PTs also had great players not qualified. You and Salvatto had a hard time qualifying for the PT and short after you did you won PTs. The PTs before you qualified certainly didn't have "all the best players' because you weren't there

That concept applies for the arena PTs and PT finals, doesn't it?

With the announcements of coverage for Nagoya and Brussels I just realized how much I missed watching PTs. And this time with the bonus of playing the same formats the following weekend!!

Sácale carga, siempre se puede volver a clasificar, quédate tranquilo que si no obtenés el resultado que querías vas a haber aprendido mucho.

They are addressing the problems. Something they never did in the history of the game. If you think invites won't help I respect your pov but I disagree.

I don't think this does nothing but I respect your point of view. Professionals in charge made this desitions and I think it's a good start.

Those trans that you refer to could perfectly be invited to represent diversity if they also meet all the other requirements that WotC consider necessary to be invited. Skill as the only metric is not inclusive because of privileges.

"Merit" is so subjective... Women who played magic for years had to deal with ton of stuff you are not counting in your merit metric.

Would you still take temples high in a very competitive table, or you do it because online you always flood playables? For instance, pick 3 I'd slam the 3/3 deathtouch mill 3.

As obvious as it sounds there are still ton of people that think and act that way.
