Yes, it's very common. Not uncommon with *any* operator, they have all been overwhelmed.

That's encouraging - Contrary to what was feared, Thello appears to be running Nice-Milan trains beyond the timetable change on 13 December. Though beyond early January only one out of 3 appears in the data.

in 1934, Flying Scotsman made history. It became the first steam locomotive to (officially!) reach 100mph. This photo was taken at Kings Cross right after the run. You can see the driver, Bill Sparshatt and the fireman, R Webster, alongside Nigel Gresley.

It's not just about asking your parents to chip in with the rent. It's about asking the the landlord to share the pain and lower the massive rent while a national crisis means everyone is strapped for cash. i.e. track access, rates, taxes.

Petition: has been a great asset for for 26 years and to see it go out of business would be devastating for those who wish to travel within by train in a Post-Covid world.

I expect it's on ice. Be very careful about anything you're told is the 'original' Orient Express as there's no such thing!

I doubt it - it’s a freight service. I think one of the other Ireland-France ferries does.
