Oh, I'm still working through it, I'm just also less productive because I am simultaneously angry/depressed.

Yes, I have a high quality one of these and I drained the whole damn thing just to get to the point that the lights would turn on. It was helpful but not sufficient.

Also I couldn't go to the doctor because my car's battery reached Absolute Zero due to my remote work / shut-in lifestyle, which is separately tied to this increasing hypochondriac tendency.

One downside to honing my concentration and cognitive skills is that when I'm sick, I can now literally feel my immune system's impact on my cognitive ability. It's an incredibly depressing feeling. Each sore throat I now panic as I visualize 5 days of productivity out the window

A minor gem dependency update inadvertently broke our app's error reporting gem, which resulted in logins failing 100% of the time but (naturally) not being reported. I will say when your error reporter is the thing that's broken, the logs can really make you doubt yourself.

Don't worry, because the prequels are so much worse that they'll make the original three feel relatively middling at least

My AirPods case has demagnetized so many hotel keys that I need a replacement key at least once on nearly every hotel stay. Less than half the time I've request a new keycard have I (1) been asked my name, (2) been asked for ID. This should terrify you.

TIL that if you turn off Wikis for a GitHub repo, and then turn them back on years later, those old Wiki pages you thought were as-good-as-deleted are still there.

What happened that led to this sentence being written? Did someone follow this how-to guide and literally write "John Doe" thinking it was some kind of consumer banking cheat code, allowing anyone to cash any check? Like Justin Bailey in Metroid?
