How got screwed: 1. They decided to start the match when it was 150% known it would not be finished in 1 day. That removes match fitness from equation, which would have been in ’s favor. 2. Roof closure (indoor) benefits . 3. Heat factor also removed FFS🤔🤬

I know most people are looking the other way, but that was the most beautiful, incredible, tense (and respectful) game of tennis I've seen in a very long time. Bravo, . You is my hero, as always.

Now we see the full effect of intervening in the world rankings and making the #1 seed, despite his #2 ranking. , the top-ranked player on earth, has the toughest potential quarterfinal and semifinal. The “pundits” won’t mention it, that’s for sure 🤨

I credit both players massively for adjusting to the late start time and the abrupt shift in conditions (Wimby played under a roof at night??). However, anyone that understands tennis know this favors . Despite that synthetic edge, and he are both playing well.👏

I’m not gonna fall out with any of my twitter friends over this debacle, but if anyone else wants to tell me I’m not allowed to feel angry about this shit-show called ‘Wimbledon’ I’m just gonna block them.

While the early part of ’s draw was “easy,” the latter part was a big ask. Beating in-form and and then potentially would have required Herculean effort. Throw the roof on, and a bad schedule, it was just too tall an order. So proud of 💪🙌

Gauntlet thrown: That Swiss guy, with just 3 wins out of 12 chances against in majors, said yesterday he had “cracked the code” on how to beat Nadal. Presumably he meant: A. Getting 1 full extra day of rest before the final and B. Playing only when conditions favor him😂

2 thoughts ahead of the last day of 1. I don’t want it to end. 2. Shall we ask and if they’d like to play a 3rd/4th place playoff?

One notable thing about the - semifinal at   was the classy and respectful behavior of the fans on Center Court. It was crystal clear the unsporting/rude fans of a certain stayed home, and that’s something we can all be thankful for 🙏👏

Me: Dad, it’s the Wimbledon finals. Dad: Nope. The finals was when Rafa won versus Del Potro. Fair game no interference. My dad is the best.

As one that pounds the table on objectivity, I need to admit that has come up short mentally against and in his two most recent Slam matches against them. Rafa’s mental toughness is legendary, but one has to wonder if/why it’s fractured lately.🤷‍♂️🧐
